My Impossible List

A bucket list. I’m sure you’re familiar with it. A list of all the numbered experiences you hope to have before you die. To be honest, I’ve never really owned a bucket list. Yes, I may have had a vague ‘list’ at the back of my head of the goals I wanted to meet, but that was just thrown away, abandoned, ignored. A bucket list is treated in the same way, because we all lack that spur to fulfil more in life.

The solution: an impossible list

When I first came across this inspiring list, it reminded me of ‘The 4-Hour Workweek’ book by Tim Ferriss, which displays a similar idea. It emphasises that we shouldn’t settle for the old concept of a boring life, but rather implement the lifestyle of our dreams.

Put simply, the impossible list is an ever-growing list of experiences that implore you to take action (thanks to Thomas Frank for that perfect way of putting it). After crossing off a completed goal, you take that leap to expand the goal and track your progress along the way.

Here’s mine and I have yet to see how this list will shape my life and evolve itself.
